The Cyst Reduction Filter (QCR series) is designed to meet the ANSI/NSF Standard 53 requirements for reduction of cyst (99.95%) and turbidity in water. The filter cartridge utilizes an absolute 1 micron media to provide an effective filtration of waterborne parasites including Cryptosporidium and Giardia. The QCR filter is constructed with high surface area to provide exceptional flow rates at low pressure drops for longer service life. The QCR filters are produced in a range of configurations using double o-ring connectors to ensure maximum protection and retrofit most critical beverage processing systems.
