E-Pak® cartridges are radial flow adsorption cartridges developed specified for pharmaceutical processing. Created with proprietary technology, E-Pak® cartridges provide the rapid kinetics of fine particle adsorption at flow rates and capacities suitable for laboratory, pilot plant, and full-scale commercial operations. They are designed for use in both aqueous and organic solvent systems, and incorporate design features compatible with use in explosion proof environments.

Applications: E-Pak® adsorbent cartridges are designed for the purification of API’s and intermediates dissolved in polar and non polar solvents. Primary applications include removal and recovery of catalyst, reaction-by-products and color from synthetic reaction mixtures and natural products. Compared to loose media, pre-packed columns and ventricular style filters Graver Process Scale Adsorbents provide important advantages including: Reduced process time, increased purity and recovery, improved safety, handling disposal and lower operating cost.

E-Pak® adsorbent cartridges are available in range of sizes and formulations (based on many of the adsorbent formulations in our Ecosorb® C-Series of adsorbents) to accommodate the broad range of processing requirements encountered over the typical API development cycle.
